Exciting Opportunity: FREE Literacy/Numeracy Summer School Intermediate Non-Credit Camp Program!

Who Can Register: All current SMCDSB and non-SMCDSB students may register. This program is for Intermediate Students Only. Students MUST have completed a minimum of Grade 6 to register and can be entering Grade 9 in September 2026.

Registration Requirements: All students must email a letter signed by their current school Principal to give permission to enroll in this program. The letter is attached to the last page of the Registration Form.

Program Details:

• Dates: June 29 - July 10, 2026
• Time: 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Location:  St. Joan of Arc Catholic High school (460 Mapleton Ave, Barrie, ON L4N 9C2), with one online learning day.
• Delivery: Hybrid
  • Monday, June 29-30, 2026 (In-person)
  • July 1st, 2026 (Remote online)
  • Thursday July 2nd to Friday, July 10, 2026 (In-person)

Program Highlights: Enhance literacy, numeracy, science, and technology skills through MTV (Mouse Trap, Vehicle Challenge), Instrumental Music, Robotics/Coding and other STEAM activities. Please indicate which program you're interested in when completing the registration form.

Bussing: Bussing will be provided, and all students must select a bussing option on the registration form in case Blended Learning is the only available program option.
