ESL/ELD High School Credit Courses

Join us to explore the local community and learn about:
- Levels of Canadian government
- Local courts and justice system
- A mayor’s office and city hall
- Local recreation programs - gyms and sports
- Shopping and media
- Taking a city bus
- Filling forms and opening a bank account
|
Students can register for a four week virtual ESL course to work towards earning one high school credit. The course will offer opportunities for speaking, listening, reading and writing virtually. Students will also learn how to interpret and understand various media messages. Students will have opportunities to explore and learn about their local community as part of the course. |
