Summer Intermediate Non-Credit Camps

This program is for Intermediate Students Only. Students MUST have completed a minimum of Grade 6 to register for this program. Students can be entering Grade 9 in September 2022.
All students in this program must email a letter signed by their current school Principal to give them permission to enroll in this program. The letter is attached to the last page of the Registration. Please have it signed and emailed to:

WHAT:
  The Literacy/Numeracy Summer School Intermediate Non-Credit Camp Program is an opportunity to increase your literacy, numeracy, science, and/or technology skills in a fun and engaging class. Programs include: MTV (Mouse Trap, Vehicle Challenge), Instrumental Music, Indigenous Rap History/Coding, Robotics/Coding, American Sign Language and other Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) Activities!

WHEN: July 4 to July 15, 2022, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

WHERE: The Literacy/Numeracy Summer School Intermediate Non-Credit Camp Program is offered either as a full Remote (Virtual) class OR as a blend of Remote (Virtual) learning and face-to-face classes.
Students must select from one of the below options when registering: Option 1: Blended delivery Remote (Virtual) classes on: July 4, 8, 11, 15, 2022 Face to Face classes on: July 5, 6, 7, and July 12, 13, 14, 2022 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic High School (460 Mapleton Avenue, Barrie) 

Bussing will be provided

Option 2: Remote (Virtual) The number of synchronous live teaching sessions will depend on the course and the teacher. The teacher will explain their expectations during the first class.

All students must also select a bussing option on the registration form in case Blended Learning is the only available program option.
